Since 1987 Tayberry Music has built a loyal following of music lovers and enthusiasts. Founded by Margaret Tice and her son Frank, Tayberry Music became the go to source for music heard on NPR’s nationally syndicated program Thistle & Shamrock. The personal service and touch the Tice’s brought to the company solidified Tayberry Music as the #1 outlet for hard-to-find Celtic and folk recordings.

After 2 wonderful decades of Tayberry Music, Margaret Tice made the difficult decision to retire in 2007. Having done business with Compass Records over the years, Tice was confident the company would be a good fit within the Compass Records Group, which acquired the company in whole.

Personal care and offering a broad selection of great recordings is at the forefront of the Compass Records philosophy.
